steering

just noticed at lunch why my car seems to drift all over the road on the freeway..there seems to be some play in the steering...if i hold my hand at 12:00...it goes past 1 before there is actually resistance and starts to turn..

is there somewhere to tighten this up? they are manual steering, arent they? i know other cars i could tighten up the play in the steering box, it this the same?

no adjustment, sounds like rack is worn out or you have a really loose tie rod end, get it checked
