O2 sensor on 93 Cavalier..where is it?

I am new to making repairs on my car and simply need to know where the sensor is located on my 1993 Cav. Do I have to get at it from underneath the car or by popping the hood??

Thanks,

Razz

Re: O2 sensor on 93 Cavalier..where is it?

Welcome to the forum and your O2 sensor is located in your exhaust manifold and may require getting under your vehicle. If you take a good look at it, you will most likely see the best route to changing it. Also a haynes or chliton service manual is always a valuable tool to have. Good Luck.

OBD I... should be alble to get to it in the front. If you have a 2.2 but if its a Z24... need to get under it or have long skinny arms.
