Need LCD monitor help

Hey guys,
Well I bought a Sceptre 15" LCD monitor that did not have a power cord. So I figured "oh I can just go to Radio shack and get one cheap". But it takes a AC/DC converter, I called the company and they would not give me any information on the power supply. I was wondering if anybody could give me some answers to some questions?
Ok here is the specs on the monitor: Specs
Now from the specs in the power source section what type power supply do I need? The main problem I am having is trying to figure out what the polarity is and what size the tip is. I have found a few places that sell power supplies but you have to know what the specs are in order to buy one. Anybody know the specs I need or know how to find them?

Thanks guys

Re: Need LCD monitor help

Looks like it should be :
Power Source
12V, 3A, 36W, Universal Input 100-240V, 1.0A, 50-60Hz, 36W AC Adapter (External)

Since it's light in weight take monitor to the store so you make sure the plug in connector is right. If you give them the above specs see if they got the right thing. Don't be disappointed if they don't since there's SO many different values for adapters for so many devices they might not.

Re: Need LCD monitor help

Had a similar problem getting a power supply for a wireless access point I sourced in the US. Still haven't got a solution.

Re: Need LCD monitor help

Well I talked to Sceptre about it and they still say " I don't have that information, but I can send you one for $55 + shipping" So I am thinking about just buying it from them, that way if it is wrong I won't be out the money. Thanks for the help anyway guys.
