roof leaks

I have a 1993 Jeep Wrangler with the fiberglass hardtop. After it rains there are puddles on the floorboards and the seats are wet. I live in the desert so never really worried about it. But it has been pouring here now for days and we are moving to Ky which is a lot wetter. Anyway I sat in the jeep for a while to see where the water was coming from. It was not the window it is sealed. It is seeping in through the solid roof. It comes through like a mist not drips. Is there anyway to waterproof this or am I just going crazy.

Re: roof leaks

I imagine all that desert sun has taken away the integrity of your hard top. There may be a way to seal it, you might want to check at either the Jeep dealer or a local boat shop that works in fiberglass.

Other than that, sounds like it is time for a new top. Check out:

They have a large selection.
