Unhappy 4 plugs changed easy ? last 2 Plugs

I have a 99 lexus es300 with 230,000 and it still runs like new except for the worst gas milage I've ever seen. 17 to a gallon. I have changed the oil, wires, rotor button but could only change 4 of 6 plugs. The front 3 and the closest one on the back side nearest the passenger. Is it possilbe to get to the 2 plugs nearest the driver on the back side of the engine with out removing major components on top? Help! What special tools are needed if it is possible.

I got to the last two in question.
There are some hoses in the back that you can disconnect to make it easier. Make sure you mark them and note where they connect to.
Various lengths of extensions and a swivel socket will help also.

Re: 4 plugs changed easy ? last 2 Plugs

It is helpfull to have a retractable magnet. Drop in the socket, drop in the extention then attach the rachet. Once the plug is loose, you can use the magnet to pull out your tools and the plugs. To put the plugs in, drop in the plug, the socket, the extention and then attach the ratchet to tighten. Hope you have a lot of patients. I have more patients than money so this worked for me. Changed all six in about one hour.
