i don't understand how a speaker can be 2 or 8 ohms, please if you know explain it to me

The ohms rating refers to the resistance of the voice coil wire. Thickness and length of wire bear in this measurment. Theoretically if you put an ohm meter across the two speaker leads it would give you the ohms rating but the unloaded speaker will likely give you a different reading. Just have to take the mfr word for it.

It depends on the amplifier. 8 ohms will give you less watts from the amp, and 2 will push the amp harder. If it's not 2 ohm stable, then you'll blow the amplifier. DVCs or something? Depending on how you wire the speaker (serial or parallel) will give you the ohms you want.

What do you want to know?

If it's car audio, mainly it's 4ohm for the cheap stuff, 2ohm for the better stuff, and <=1 ohms are the good amps. Usually home audio is 8, sometimes 16. If your car audio amp blows running at 2 ohms, then it probably wasn't one worth messing with in the first place. I've ran 4ohm on an 8ohm Pioneer without problems. Let me know what you're dealing with and I'll tell you how to hook it up.
