Well your first mistake was probably flushing the tranny fluid it can blow out screens in the tranny that are there to protect from debris. when there gone the tranny blowing is only a matter of time. the second as soon as a tranny act out of thge norm you should have stopped driving it or at least taken it to a transmision specialist to at least confirm that the codes that are set are just what they are codes...... the third and final mistake was denying that because the car only had 77k on it didn't mean the tranny could have been bad

Man stop acting like you know something. you said that exact shit qabout the screens blowing to someone else. You probably talked to one person who told you that now your gonna live by it. that is horse shit even if there was screens that blew out your filter picks almost everything up in your fluid that is moving. not to mention my fluid has nothing to do with my final drive blowing out u fucking tard the tranny is still fine.

Actually i got that screen information from about 3-4 mechanics in the area that continuously see recently flushed trannys comming into the shop and they can trace it back to the debris in the places it shouldn't be. And everone of those guys work with trannys everyday for a living and if your gonna say they are doing it to make more money they don't really want to see the cars anyway because they take a fair amouont of time and they don't have much of a profit margin they would rather see the big trucks. Several other certified mechanics have warned about the ponetial problems from flushing a tranny.
