mpfi not worth the time?

LOL...
To do ANY swap in the dpfi civic/crx's you MUST convert to MPFI FIRST!

Re: wiring question vtec in my 91 hatch

you can't just get a conversion harness. YOU HAVE TO DO MPFI SWAP TO YOUR CAR. There is NO WAY AROUND IT. Trust me on this one.
The conversion harness is just plugs at the ecu.
Those extra wires that come with the conversion harness are for you to run thru the firewall to the extra sensors that obd1 motors have. Most of them you won't use.
But yes, you can use those wires and wire them to the sensors.
But, you have to do MPFI FIRST!

sounds to me like you need someone who knows how to run wiring there to help you, or you are gonna end up with a car that doesnt run.

Re: wiring question vtec in my 91 hatch

easiest would be to get a obd2 harness so when you do the mpfi swap, you can use hte obd2 injector and distributor plugs so its a clean swap. get the obd0 to obd1 conversion harness and use the p28 ecu. only other thing youll need is a 4 wire o2 sensor

Re: wiring question vtec in my 91 hatch

FYI, you can use OBD0 injectors with obd1/2 ECU's, but you have to wire in the resistor box.

Also, they do have OBD1+MPFI harness'...they add in the 2 extra injector wires and the cylinder sensor wires as jumpers from the OBD1 ECU
