Do you have a signal at the starter when you crank the key?
Are you able to manually rotate the engine(with a socket on the crank pully)? And are you sure the timing belt is put on correctly?

Re: 96 tracker wont turn over since I replaced the head gasket??
Yes it turns fine with socket on the crank.timing belt can be twisted about half twist.I dont know about the starter. If i turn the key to start i have everything inside working normal but nothing under the hood but the sound of the fuel.TY for your responce.
