bad gas milage

i have a 92 isuzu rodeo and i am only getting like 200mpg city what can i do to improve

Do you mean 200M per tank?

Either way, it's best if you state it as MPG anyway. There are several causes, it'll be lower in cold weather, low tire pressure, routine maintenance not done (air/fuel filter, plugs, wires, clean egr, pcv valve etc ad-infinitum).

Also, size of tires, driving habits (low or high RPM etc), weight in the vehicle.

It's hard to tell if there is a problem with no description.

I wouldn't complain at 200MPG City!


Think you meant 200 miles per tank in the city?

I average 17-19 mpg city in the winter, which puts me at roughly 320 miles per tank; and I also run slightly bigger tires, with 200# of sand bags.

Yeah, it sounds like something's weird.
