01 tahoe largest tire

what is the largest size tire i can run on a 01 4x4 tahoe without a lift, i dont mind trimming the plastic on the front bumper a bit, i would like to run a 285/75/16, will it fit????

There's been tons of posts on this subject before--someone correct me if I'm wrong here or feel free to disagree, but I think the general consensus is that 285/75R16 will fit on a stock truck.

285/75-16 will fit..but just to let you know..i have 2002 yukon and when I hit some rough trails..it sometimes rubs the fender liner. Looks great on tahoe and yukons.

285s will fit if u rub a little you can turn up the tortion keys but the ride wont be quite as well
