Question H&R vs Eibach springs for P11īs

Hey list, I need a real advice and opinions here.

After trying and trying, we became to the conclusion that the H&R springs and KYB AGX will never work fine in my 98 Primera P11. Why, I have no idea. The car has become the worst car I ever drove. It is bouncy as hell, you can feel every little thing on the road, and feels like all the shocks were real damaged, and they are only 1-1/2 week (around 800 kms). I tried every single combination, front and rear.
Does the year make a difference on P11īs ???

The guy at the shop talked to the H&R distributor, and recommended replacing the H&R springs for the Eibachs. The differences will be that will lower the car only 1.2 in., and the ride will be softer that the H&R.

Have you tried the EIBACHīs Springs with the KYB AGXīs on the P11? Do they work fine together ???
How is the ride for daily driving?
WIl the car bounce as with the H&R?
How about cornering?

I really need your impressions. I was looking for a really cool look on my Primera, and a suspension that respond agressive on cornerings on daily driving, and NOT a bouncy $900,00 combo that feels like crap!

Please help me !

Thanks

Ok I don't know if this has been mentioned before....H&R are made in Europe...I think in Germany...The roads in Europe are alot different compared to here in the states...I noticed you are from Panama...I don't know what the roads are like but I'm sure they aren't as smooth as the european roads. I believe when H&R research and developed these they had performance in mind and on smooth roads such as a race track....I don't know if this will fit the 98-99 Primera for sure but it should be the same unless you have the 5-door version...

They ride rough because of the high springs rates...but isn't that the way it should be with lowering springs?

Im looking to keep a good ride and have a low stance. Im not autocrossing, roadracing, etc so I dont really need top of the line performance. Im jsut looking for a good ride and a nice clean lowered look. Guess Teins are still my best bet...

No answer received to my original post. Will ask again

Have you tried the EIBACHīs Springs with the KYB AGXīs on the P11? Do they work fine together ???
How is the ride for daily driving?
WIl the car bounce as with the H&R?
How about cornering?

What will happens if KYB AGX are installed along with "cutted" OEM springs.

Please answers

Thanks

I have the Eibachs on the stock shocks, and I like the way it rides, you feel the road a little more, but I love the way it looks...

Hey G20 SpoRt 2002, the front Eibachīs are not progressive, right?
Does that matters?

Iīm just one step to send back the H&Rīs and try with the Eibachīs. If they fell confortable, great, if not iīll go back to the high altitudes with the normal springs and a confortable ride.

I love the way it looks right now, but really hate the ride, it is just unconfortable and unacceptable.

BTW, what is the part number for the Eibach springs, for a P11. Just to be sure to get the right ones.

Well I went to digitalracer.com and ordered my springs. I still have all stock suspension but the springs, You do feel the road and you feel the bumps but its not bad, For me I love the way it rides, but it all depends on personal preference. Hope that helps you....

G20 SpoRt 2002: When you say stock suspension but the springs, I assume that u have stock tires. Iīm running 205/45-16. Must be a little harder ride, right? Doesnīt matter, just donīt want a bouncy car.

JasIzBac: The ride still good using the 215/40-17. Hmmm, Must be the same with my 205/45/16 Toyos

Yes I am on stock tires, they are 205/50R16. The ride is still pretty good but like I said you do feel the road a little more, and it has real good handling!

OK guys, I thinks is clear now. The Eibach are my next choice.

If they donīt work, will go back to normal springs.

Anyone know of a Primera or G20 with stock cutted springs ???

A very experience mechanic here, told me that he has cutted some stocks springs of hondas and other cars, of course being real careffull on what he is doing, and has some real good results. Told me that if the Eibach donīt work, we can try the lowering methods from the old school
