Is there a stronger engine I can swap out my 420a with?

Ok guys I have a 95 GS with 115k and tons of show mods like 19" rims, bomex body kit, system, lots of chrome under the hood, undercar neons, and so on. But now I'm wanting more horsepower. ]Now instead of spending $8k on rebuilding with better internals and putting a HRC stage 2 kit on and all that I've been watching Overhaulin on the speed channel a lot and been seeing how you can order all these crate engines. Is there any other stonger engine like say an EVO engine as an example (as I know that wouldnt fit) that I could buy new straight out of the box and put in place of my 420a motor? That way I wouldnt have to fool with rebuilding and turboing and all. thanks
LA.

the elantra isn't made with the clearances and mounting points that would make AWD a reasonable conversion. For example the rear differential would interfere with the fuel tank. If you were to convert a DSM you'd just get an AWD DSM fuel tank, but there is no such thing for an Elantra so you'd have to run a fuel cell in your trunk.

My homeboy and I just swapped out his 420A from his 97 RS with a 4G63T from a 94 GS Turbo. It's not as hard as you think, we just had to change the ECU, the speedometer, and the motor mounts had to be changed. Welded in a new Clutch pedal with little minor odds & ends and we were straight.

We plan on opening our own site up next year but in the mean time, I will post pics of my 91 TSI AWD with pics from when I first bought it smashed up and the motor all yellow and black with pics of me changing everything around. I'll post pics of his car from before and after as well. When we're done with the body There might be a pic with me bitchin from being frustrated here and there though. lol I'll post a pic of my whole team this spring.

I think we want to see this 2G RS w/ a 4g63, not your 1G w/a 4g63. And if you did do this, then you are somewhat retarded since selling the RS, and using the money you would have used for the swap, would of got u a 2G 4g63 DSM. Not to mention you'd probably live longer.

BTW, Your "Homeboy" sh*t has to stop, it say's alot about your general intelligence level. I'm sick of reading your retarded post's.

Would saying "my friend" suit you better? Were you brought up in the back hills possibly? As for intelligence, I majored in Criminal Justice. After I finish MOS training next year I'm going to UTI for a year. You're ignorant to judge someone by saying one solitary word "homeboy" Is it too ghetto for you? Possibly because you're from Canada, ay?

As for our swap, you made little sense on what you had posted.

'My FRIEND' found a 94 GS Turbo Eclipse for $500 at an auction to use the motor and tranny for his 97 RS. He also sold his stock 420A for 500 afterwards to some other guy who shot a rod right threw his oil pan and was searching for a quick swap. As for living longer, the car is a hell of a lot safer now than it ever would've been stock. The only one retarded is you. "Yet another example of someone with a smart comment when I'm minding my own business posting.. because he doesn't care for a word I use periodically & doesn't believe we did a swap for as cheap as we have"
