'Wild' turn signal!!

I have a 1988 325 that when I put on the left turn signal, it goes extremely fast while the right one is normal. The left turn light also keeps up with the pace of the signal as well. Tried changing the fuse but did not 'slow it down'. Any ideas? Thank you very much.

Faster flashing usually indicates a burned out bulb on the faster side, turn them on 1 side at a time and see if there are more bulbs burning on the slow side than the other. also check that all the bulbs are the same number...ie: 1157, 1034 etc.
