tire brand
i have 17 inch rims and need tires. i was thinking about 205/40/17. 205 so rubing problems. i know i could get 215 but dont want to even think about problems. anyways i live in chicago and need to tires that are good all year round. but also are high in performance for the summer. i dont really care about price. i was looking at tirerack and the only had 2 brands pirelli and sumitomo. can some tell me if these tires are good or another brand i should get. thanks

I have Yokohama A520 205/40/17 and they are great. Super grip and great in the wet too. A little noisy, but no big deal.

do you have a p10 or a p11?? if you have a p11, than 215/45/17's will work perfectly, if you have a p10 than a 205/40/17 will work fine also

I advise some Toyo proxes Z rated. Top of the line tires and ain't that expensive. Or maybe some Nitto's also Z rated. I might go with a 215 so you have a biggier sidewall to protect the rim.
