Wiring Amp

how can i can run wires through to the battery, to power stuff in the car? Does the firewall have punch-out spots to run wires through, or is there an easier way to run around it? I want to avoid any visual contact with wires after the install, so does anyone have instructions of how to remove the dash? not only the console, but the entire dash, and possibly the "cup holder/middle area" paneling.

Almost every car should have a big rubber grommet in the firewall where the good majority of the wiring harness goes through to the fuse box. Trace back from the battery. The unfortunate side of that is you're working on a crammed sports car engine bay, not an old Dodge where you can just climb right in. Once you locate the general pass through you can worry about the inside. Most likely you are taking panels off somewhere. If you get a little stumped consult a good old fashioned Chiltens guide. You can pick one up at your Local Schuck's store for about $30-40. Of course, depending on where you're from that could be Checker or Craigen store. Even if it doesn't give you the picture you want it's always handy to have one around. As far as hiding the wires under the hood,... good old fashioned black flex tubing, wire ties and electrical tape. Good luck. By the way,... what are you running? And let us know how it goes.
