Security light comes on for no reason
One last problem with my car...
At least 2 or 3 times a week the security light comes on while I am driving and stays on until I stop the car. It also happend twice this month that I started the car but just barely turned the key for half a second and let go.. the car didn't start and the damn security light comes on. You then have to wait like 10 mins with the key on until the light stops flashing before the car will start again. Pain in the ass

Is this an aftermarket alarm system? When you first start you car it should turn on for a like 2 secs. When my asshole friend mess with my alarm it will remain on for a little bit longer after it has been tripped. Then i turn it off and back on again, it always goes off.

Dissconnect you battery for like 30 min and that should clear out any stupid errors the computer picked up from somewhere.
