1999 Blazer 6-disc cd changer

My Blazer came with a 6-disc CD changer that is located in the center cosole. For the pass year or so there is a clicking sound during playback. I recently used a lens cleaning disc and still the same problem. Anyone else have this problem? If so any remedies?

The click of death.

Usually a sign of a player on the way out.

That sucks since the problem seem to start right after the warranty ran up...it has been getting progressivly worse.
