1999 Blazer side-view mirror question
I currently have power, heated, light sensitive mirrors. My driver-side mirror was struck and the plastic that holds the mirror in place is now broken. Does anyone know if the OEM power, heated mirrors w/o light sensitivity will work in replace of the manufacturers mirrors?

Re: 1999 Blazer side-view mirror question
I'm looking ot replace mine on my passenger side as well. How can I tell if I have the light sensitive ones? I know they're power and heated.

Re: 1999 Blazer side-view mirror question
They will dim when you have a car behind you at night.
Wish I had them on my 1995. Hmmm.......potential mod time.....oh ohhhh.....

Re: Re: 1999 Blazer side-view mirror question
my rearview mirror is the light sensitive one, although I never see it change one way or the other. I can hit the off button, but it goes right back on. So that being the case, is there any other way to know? I'm about to buy a power/heated one.....and can't see the connector on the one I'm buying to match it up to mine. Any other way to tell?

Re: 1999 Blazer side-view mirror question
Shine a flashlight on the sensor on the rearveiw mirror at night. Or have someone park behind you with their lights on bright. If they are working you will see their headlights look tinted. It took me awhile on mine to realize the mirrors changed also, I thought it was just the rearveiw mirror.
