decent body kits????

ARE THERE ANY!!!!...ok im not usually in the camaro threads (1st time to be exact)..but my computer illiterate dad wants me to piece together a 93+ camaro... The only problem i have with this is that i dont like the pointy nose to the 93-97 and i cant seem to find any decent bodykits for it besides the oem bodykit they put on the RS or w/e model that was....and the fact that i havent been up to speed with camaro's for 5 years now...i dont know any good websites to find any good body kits!!! thats where you guyz come in! Do you guyz know websites that have decent body kits for the camaro?? thks

Re: decent body kits????

there are lots available (wings west, RK sport, DG motorsports, A&A, Eribuni) But as far as ive seen all 93-97 body kits have a pointy nose.. Ive seen some nice rounded ones for the 98+ camaros.. If your piecing it all together, you might be able to make it work??

http://www.bfranker.badz28.com/appearance/

check that out.. theres dozens of different body kits on there..

Re: decent body kits????

yeah as far as im concerned, the pointed nose is the nicest part about the forth gen camaro, it really makes it different from everything else you see out there.. most body kits will use that rather than hide it..

Re: decent body kits????

well i shouldnt say i dont like it....its ok...but for me personally i like a little bit more bumper up front instead of it coming to a plain point and being off the ground higher than i like...and im not trying to get rid of the point im trying to add some substance to it i guess.... nothing outrageous just some simple bodykit.

Re: decent body kits????

eh.. everyone has their own taste.. i once seen a camaro with a kit that rivaled the blitz kit off an eclipse.. ugliest thing i've ever seen.. too bad i didnt have a camera..

Re: decent body kits????

Put a push bumper on it with a winch and some KC lights.Ha!

I would go for whatever kit got the best wind tunnel tests results.I believe for the camaros it was always the RS body that did the best .Also another consideration is how the heck you put it on.Some after market kits look good going on but a few summers of +100 degree heat days mixed with normal driving conditions make the body kits sag and look like crap.I think for that reason i would hunt out a stock body kit or possibly having a custom bumper cover made using a stock bumper cover as a template.Good luck please dont rice it out those wings only make poor results in wind tunnel tests.Quite literally proven to slow you down.
