Neon switch.

Hey,
I'm currently in the process of whacking a few neons in my car, but I have a problem. The switch that I have picked up is a 3 prong one (obviously one prong for ground, one for power and one for load), but there is no markings on the switch to tell me which is which. There is a 1, 2 and 3 underneath each prong on the plastic, and on the number 1 prong it says 85, the number 2 prong has nothing, and the number 3 prong has 79. Any help would be appreciated, hope this makes sense...
Cheers!

No, you see I got it from a electronics store where everything is placed separately on a shelf, nothing is boxed. So therefore there were no instructions. Yes, the switch does have a LED in it, the neons are going in the interior high up in the foot wells above my feet. I guess I could get a switch with instructions, it's just a shame they don't mark these ones properly. Still, if anyone knows how to get the switch going, any help would be good

Re: Neon switch.

the middle one should be the constant power and the left might be ground but u will just have to test it it won't hurt if u get those 2 wrong at first as long as the constant is right

You should probably have bought in the box. This way you would have instructions. Just a thought....

Yeah, I ended up just buying another one with instructions. Kinda hard to know what you're doing without any markings on the switch. Neons work fine, it's all good Thanks for your help.
