Question 02 Cavy shifting problem

I have a minor problem. I got in a car accident bout 3 months ago and i had the radiator and bunches of other stuff replaced. My car leaked not quite 2qts. of tranny fluid and i didnt realize it. I filled it back up to the apporiate lvl. Bout 1 month ago, when it shifts into 2nd gear when its cold it feels like wheel hop but the tires arent spinning. And now when i get on it it shifts into 2nd but it is like a delay first it revs down then u can hear the engine rev a little and then 2nd gear kicks in. O and by the way this is on a automatic 4speed tranny. If ne1 knows what could be the problem it would be much appericated if u could let me know...
thanks
