how to make the jump seat fold

I just got a 05 silverado, and I was wondering how I can make the jump seat fold down? I figured someone has figured out how to make it fold. Or where to find one that is color matched. Thank you.

What jump seat are you talking about? If your talking about the rear seat there should be two straps on either bottom side of the seat. Just give a wee pull to lift or let the seat down.

no the center seat in the front so you can use it as a arm rest when nobody is sitting in the center. Thanks sorry for being so vague

Not all of them fold down. They appear as though they do, but don't. My roomate has a single cab with 2 seats and the seat for the middle passenger. The back support for that passenger gives the impression that it would fold down but does not. Sorry, but I think you're out of luck.

Re: how to make the jump seat fold

You can get a folding seat on E-bay, I think. Never heard of anyone modifying one to fold, let us know what you find out, I'd like to do the same thing!
