Throttle Bodies and Intake Manifolds???

Here's the deal, I am wondering what stock intakes are interchangable and what throttle bodies wil interchange with what intakes. I am only talking about bolting up, we are disregarding any sensors. Thanks

any 89-94 manifold will work they are all the same i think its 92.5 up TB 89 will work if you are capping your lines off **i think** that is right i have 89 so i know that works

Re: Throttle Bodies and Intake Manifolds???

Actually, I think I remember Kevin trying to bolt a 1g manifold onto a 2g head, and wasn't able to do it without leaks. I recently was holding up two mani gaskets together, and they seems quite different.

Other way around, you can't put a 2g manifold on a 1g head. It physically bolts up, but the ports on the 1g head are larger than the entire flange on the 2g manifold, so you get some massive leaks A friend of mine just learned this the hard way too, car barely runs.

Putting a 1g manifold on a 2g head is retarded, if you dont port match the head. Put a 1g gasket on the 2g head, and you can see the ridiculous step down in size. Not good for airflow

Any DSM TB will bolt onto any DSM manifold (assuming turbo in the case of 2Gs, 1g 2.0 NT works, not sure about 1.8). But again, putting a 60mm 1g TB on a 2m manifold doesnt make sense if you dont take that 52mm hole out to 60. 91-94 and 95-99 are interchangeable, but a 2g needs the 2g TPS. ISC connectors are the same. The 90s are different both in the ISC and TPS, and in the vac setup, don't waste your time with them.
