In Progress:Super Detailed Tamiya Enzo Ferrari

Hey, picked up this kit to try out the exotic car section aside from moto gp. I went with super detail kit from SMS, excellent selection of bolts and different parts that build up great realism, I suggest getting it if your planning to do this build. If u got money to spend go for Acu-Stion transkit, i think they got more selections and good mesh. So far done most of the work on the engine compartment, and cutting out the hood from the front.

Nice start! I'll look forward to following the progress.
I've got the enzo waiting to start I just can't make up my mind which detail set to get? Acu-stion is SOOOO expensive though?

I actually think that SMS set is much superior to Acu-STion set.

Can someone explain these details kits to me? I have never heard of them. I was always under the impression Tamiya meant "make your own parts" for detail. Do the 2 companies have web addy's?

That's exactly what Tamiya is, this guy's detailing is his own... custom (well, most of it anyway). The super detail kit from SMS he's talking about is a set of photoetched and other parts meant to help with the detailing he's doing.

On that note, I have to say this build is amazing, and I want more.

hehe, ya i'am making a racing version enzo ferrari so i wanted to simulate that the engine was pushed to the max on the race track, and even if u look at used enzos their exhausts are similar that... not the ones in the dealer ship. Glad u like my build so far, ill try to make more progress during the weekend and maybe ill post an update sometime next week. l8r
