Rim Question
Hi all,
I'm thinking of putting some 18" rims on my 2000 Mustang. A local salesman told me that 18x9" would stick-out a little, which is what I want. However I can get the rims online cheaper, but it doesn't say what the width is. It only says 18". My question is what's the normal width for a 18" rim? Also, I saw some that were 18x7.5" and was curious to know if there would be a great difference between those and the 18x9"? Thanks, Will |

Re: Rim Question
Yes it makes a difference. I made the mistake of getting 18x7.5 with 225 40 18 tires and they're tucked in too much. The wheel really looks small, especially with those size tires. I have to save up a few pennies and probably get 19x9's.
