Concert sound rear speakers don't work

I just bought a 1999 century, and the rear speakers are so quiet that you can only hear them if you turn the fader all the way to the rear and turn up the volume real high. The rest of the speakers sound good. Does this stereo system have an amp outside of the reciever deck? If so where is it and could something be wrong with that? I pulled the fuse out that is marked "Radio prem. sound" with the stereo on and it has no effect on the speakers that are working (the fuse is good). Any thoughts/suggestions would be great.......Thanks in advance

I Have A 2000 Century Custom With Am/Fm Cassette.Same Problem Plus The Inside Window Antenna In The Back Glass Makes For Bad Pick-Up On Radio.I Do Not Know Of Any Amp In The Car,I Think The Speakers Are Small And Not That Good They May Also Be Sun Damaged. My Cassette Is Bad Also. So I Will Mount AN antenna,New Speakers,ANd Check E-bay For A Delco Unit With Cassette Or Cd Player That Will Fit My car. NOTE If You Need To Mount An Antenna Too,You Can Disconect The Old One From Inside The Trunk. The Plug Is To The rIght Of The Rear Right Speaker And You Will Need A Female/Female Adaptor. Good Luck.
