Cool Looking for a part.

Well when i got my blazer trucked up from florida about 2 years ago, for some reason or another when it got here the the driverside license plate lamp housing was missing. Didn't think anything of it at the time except the not-so good looking factor. Now I'm starting to notice some corrosion problems around the inside of the hole. I'm also pretty sure that the right and left peices are the same, just flipped over. I've been looking all over for one of these but can't seem to find one without the bumper step. Anyone got one laying around or know where I can get one? Its for a 2002 Xtreme. Thanks-Peace

Re: Looking for a part.

Sounds like your missing the license plate lamp housing. If so, just stop at your nearest GM dealer.

Red face

Yeah it's the license plate lamp housing. Is there any differnece between the right and left ones (when facing the rear window)? Also, I called a dealer awhile back and they said they could only get the "bumper step" that comes with the housing's allready mounted. Maybe they were just being lazy, I'll try a different dealer. Thanks -Peace

Re: Looking for a part.

They were definitely lazy. There are two different license plate lamp housings listed; with or without step bumper. I think that both sides are the same. good luck with dealer #2.
