The Mustang was fast, but it had help that the bike did not have, just listen to his engine whine as the RPMs increase.

a bike is so much quick than a car !! look 160 kg for 160 hp for a good stand bike and the price is so low compared to a car like Stang Supra GTR ... now if u would increase the power of a cars you'll $$$$$$ !! like turbo charge or else so finaly u've build a car with 500hp for 1500 kg ... not bad but an Buza Turbo made 500 hp for 160+kg a litte better ratio
and noone can beat him ! give me a videos of a car who beat a busa Turbo

there is a vid a couple of pages back with a dodge viper and it gets beat by a bike. If you take a bike and a car, spend the same ammount of money on both (including the price of the vehicle) the bike will own the car.

for those of you that admit not to know much about bikes i will let you in on a little bit: the hayabusa (busa as some are calling it) that the subject has somehow turned to is powered by a water cooled four cylinder four stroke dual overhead cam 1299cc engine. that's right -- a 1.3L! and the motorcycle's dry weight is in the low four hundred pound region. a quick internet search did not reveal the maximum hp or torque rating for this bike, but trust me it is quite possibly the fastest production bike in history. my first two cars were mustangs, and i do have a fondness for them (especially if they have turbos, you just have to understand how rare that is) but you cannot cheat physics -- very few cars will ever have the power to weight ratio or the low drag coeficient that sport motorcycles do. even if that bike in the video were a 600cc yamaha, with a good rider it would have spanked that 'stang (i really doubt that was a 1000cc bike). pay attention to how fast the bike goes by on the 2nd run, i don't think the car's driver was slowing down, but i may be mistaken. you guys can keep trying, but your car will never have a chance. don't get mad, blame isaac newton.

Cars are slowest its all , but i prefer so much more cars ! it's always great to see a car beat a bike but when bike is modified no chances ... and in answer to extreme098 i say stang supra GTR but i miss the comma .. Stang , Supra ,GTR ...

viper vs. turbo busa
there is a video, i believe shot in mexico, of a viper 800+ whp racing a turbo busa. the busa owns him for a while then around 190-200 mph range you see the viper come up on the busa and just walk away. i believe the busa ran out of gear. so who won i dont know, i believe the viper because he was still haulin. the video is cool. 1 r1, 1 turbo busa, 1 nitrous busa, couple other bikes, 1 600+ whp c5 corvette, 1 crazy viper. the video is on this forum somewhere. i just watched it yesterday. very fast rides
