2000 Elantra code p0455

Hai,
I need some help with this 00 elantra i have a code p0455.
purge control solenoid valve or
canister close vv is stuck open code p0455 is displayed.
Where are these valves located and what is the test procedure.

I am no expert on this... however, I did a little search on this forum and discovered the fact that most P0455 CEL were set by loose gas cap. You may want to re-tighten the gas cap and disconnect the battery for few minutes for the computer to reset the CEL. Good luck!

how do i reset my check engine light on my 2000 elantra w/o taking it to a dealer or auto parts store?

try disconnecting your battery for about 10-15 minutes until the computer forgets everything, if this doesnt work, go to an autozone/pepboys/etc and they will reset it for free

if its a loose gas cap it usually goes away within a day or 2 once it is fixed , regardless of resetting the code
