chirping when clutch is out
the trucks good , and I recently put a new clutch pressure plate and throw-out bearing in. about a thousand miles later this cirping started.
It more noticable when the truck is in idle with clutch out , when u push clutch in the chirping stops. let it out and the noise starts again. its not really a tapping more like a chirp only when clutch is out? It doesnt drive any different...just the noise is bothersome. any suggestions would be appreciated thanks |

mine chirps in first gear and second when going real slow. i think it is the back U joints in front of the rear diff. i had it lubed and have sprayed silicon on it. didnt help much. let me know how you get this resolved.

yes they told me that was what it was , but the noise comes from the rear it sounds like. i thought it was the U joints in the rear / any help on this one would be nice.
