97 GT AC Recirculation button not working

The button that changes from inside to outside air flow does not work. A while back the radio was changed out but I could not find anything unhooked or disconnected. The light did go on and off for a while but the airflow did not change. Now the light on the switch doesn't come on.

Cruise control doesn't set either. Both could be a vacuum problem?????????

It's probably unrelated. The switches are known to go bad. The cruise may be a vacuum problem, usually the brake pedal vacuum switch or a leak in the hose near the batttery.
