Completed, Sunset Blues, 36 Ford five window coupe

After six years of on-and-off work, finally got her done, just in time for Model Fiesta at San Antonio, where she took home a 1st place. Orange Pearl and HOK blue paints, as well as a long list of canibalized kit pieces make this one up. Features: Corvette IRS, parts bin IFS, Prowler seats, Porsche 959 dash, ZR-1 engine, and body has been smoothed out, added high intensity headlights, and a custom moon roof.

Nice combination of components. Love the two-tone finish too.

Slow at work, so I took a few more pics. These show the chassis, I cut away ALL of the underside of the body, used solder for the exhaust, and it's very hard to see the brake cables and gas lines, but since I built it to simulate routing all the lines inside the chassis to clean things up, not a whole lot to see.

The engine is a tight fit, but with some creativity, I was able to make it work. aluminum tubing for the intake, and cut down an oval air filter to make this one, even has a wing nut on it!
