stop wearing wool clothing? Its winter and thing tend to become more electrostatic and i get them too wearing my columbia jacket and fleece jacket. Tap somthing metalic before you get out of your car and oh... becareful when filling up your car with gas... there have been people killed from gas igniting.

Re: Shocks...literally...........ouch

could be the cause... ya like when you fill up your tank.. touch somthing metal so if a spark is going to discharge let it happen before your fueling your car. There has been 3 occurances of that i know of. So in the winter i also tap the support beams of the gas station. Sometimes i get a shock other times i don't.
