4.3L vortec

how much would a used 1995 chevy s-10 tranny cost for a 4.3L vortec automatic? tonight while swapping my motor with a rebuilt vortec my partner lifted the motor to high and cracked the bell housing on the tranny and now im pissed and in dear need of prices. so if you can help feel free to post.

Probably around 400 bux... Check www.car-part.com most places there warranty their trannies.

Ain't the the bellhousing aluminum?? Have it welded.

Once something like that is cracked, it's weakened in other areas of the bell housing.... Even when welded it would probably break apart again precisley because it is aluminum.
