Bad night of drifting...
Ok... I was heading out for a night of drifting (just got like 4 inches of snow) and my E brake light/coolant light/and battery light all came on. So i went home... put some coolant in (wanst that low) and went back out. The lights still stayed on as i was going to meet up with some friends and it stalled the first time... Got it started by screwing with the battery. I started driving home and it kept getting worse and worse. Finally it just shut down all together. After a call to triple A I got it towed home. I think it might be the alternator but my alternator light never came on. The guy from triple A said that the car was running off the battery. My check engine light kept clicking on and off along with my cd player/gauges. When it stalled the last time I popped the hood and the manifold was red like it was running pretty hard. Now does this sound like an alternator problem or something in the computer maybe a fuse... I dont know. I cleaned the battery terminals and its still doing it. Any help would be great.

Re: Bad night of drifting...
sounds more like the alternator because it should charge the battery as long as the cars running

Re: Bad night of drifting...
make sure you are not grounding out any wires from the main fusebox under the hood. i had an engine fire like that...

Haha I remember that Vince. You got to be careful not to make the same mistake that other ppl have made here, thats why we share our mistakes! It sucks that you didnt have much fun drifting, but make sure your car is ok before having fun like that!
