"Service Engine Soon" Light
Is there anyway of reading the service code or anyway to shut this light up besides bringing it into the dealer? My 2003 VUE just turned 25K mi. and the light when on. Since it's regularly serviced and runs great, I'm pretty sure that it's an interval service indicator (I hope).

Sorry. You are thinking of old (80's and early 90's) technology. When that light goes on - it is emissions related and isnt set off by preset mileage intervals.
It must be brought in to the dealer and you are under warranty so whats the big deal? There wont be any cost to you.. at all. Bring it in and post back. At the low mileage you specified I cant imagine it being anything "too" serious. Most likely an O2 sensor or MAF sensor.
