crank sensor location

where is the crank sensor located on the 2.0 dohc. I have a friend that has a no start problem(gets fuel to rail and has spark) told him to check crank sensor. He recently changed motors and thought maybe he didn't plug it in. I showed him where the crank sensor was located on my 1.9 but he told me that its not located in the same place. Any help? thanks

check around the crank pully my 2.0 it was right there I was standing ion the passenger side of the car looking down a little near the firewall ( like 7 o clock area) down near the oil pan and block meet

on a zetec? SPI is:

passenger side of the car, rear side of the engine (firewall side) right next to the crank pulley. Kinda angled up.

Zetec, I don't know though. Any more information on this "no start" condition?

The crank sensor on the Zetec takes a reading off of the flywheel and not the crank pully like the SOHC do. It's on the front of the motor, faceing the back side of the flywheel.

But I would check the timing belt first.
