'nother update: and pics

just wanted to show u guys what i got done, i had to make some custome brackets for my head unit because it was sticking out and making the trim plate bow a bit... here's an after shot

i recently took my headers off, had that 1200 degree paint removed, and got them and my y-pipe ceramic coated. unfortunately i forgot to take some pics before i put them back in... so here are some pics of the stuff on the car, sorry bout the under the car shots, i can't really pull back when i'm underneath lol

here is a pullback of the engine, just so you guys can get an idea of how much is put together... i haven't got to do much in the bay recently...

here is my crossmemeber, torque arm, panhard rod and sway bar from spohn. i remembered i never showed u guys my suspension. if any of u guys want to see the other suspension stuff i've done i can take more pics... just ask

Are you going to get it dynoed when you are done, or do you know how much hp and torque you have. I am just curious...

the torque arm was very straight-forward. i got the adjustible torque arm, and crossmember (with driveshaft loop) all from spohn racing.

i had the car on four jackstands, dropped the driveshaft, supported the back of the third member (so it would rotate backwards), supported the transmission, removed the crossmember, unbolted the torque arm, removed the old bracket that attached the torque arm to the tranny, bolted up the new crossmember, then bolted up the torque arm (which first attaches to be thirdmember w/ 2 bolts, then it bolts to the crossmember instead of the bracket on the tranny)

that was an abreviated version, basic steps. i still have to learn how to set the pinion angle which i haven't done yet... but the spohn torque arm came with an angle finder which makes it easier

i plan to take it to a place where i can use a chasis dyno, stock lt1's push about 275 to the wheels, so i want to see how much better than that i can do...
