Unhappy Auto start installed and now no brake lights

I have a 2001 Chevy Astro, that has no brake lights! The top brake light works, just the ones by the doors do not. I have replaced the bulbs, fuses are good, turn signals work and the hazards work when you move the button around. I had a "Valet" system installed before Christmas and it is some how connected to the brake pedal and my hazards flash while the van has been started by the remote. Could this be the problem? Is there anyone out there that knows anything about this kind of problem? I kind of want to know if this might be it before I try to get them to fix it.

Re: no brake lights

The problem with the brake lights and also if you try you will probably find that your 4-way flashers also do not work is the multi-function switch. Contact your local gm dealer with your vin # - I do believe that there is a recall for this problem
