93 Concorde start problems | pls help!

I got gas today after the gas-light was on for a while. (so it was complete empty) a little while after i got gas (after i left my home again) it started running very poor and just shut down pass the road. It didn't wanna start anymore.

After waiting 15 min it started again but after pushing the gas a few times it shut down again slowly.

Any one any idea? maybe the fuel filter? Electrical? And if you think that that filter is te problem... any idea where the fuel flter is at?

Thx so much for your consideration.

Tennessee

additional info:

- It was very rainy today
- the car has about 128.000 miles

Just FYI so you know in the future, never run a car that low on fuel, you could burn up your fuel pump which is inside your tank, and you could damage your catalytic converter. Since it was practically out of fuel, what happened was that since it was cold & rainy, moisture formed in the engine thus causing the problems you're having, and with ambient temps and atmosphere at those conditions, your engine in essence flooded itself out. If your car is at home now, start it up and let it run for a few minutes in your driveway. Afterwards, put her in gear, drive her around and see what happens.
