94 park avenue power window problem

Hi, I've got an interesting problem with my park avenue. When I bought it, the rear passenger window was taped to hold it up, and i have just gotten to trying to fix it. I got a new power window motor, and opened the door, only to find the original motor was fine, just someone had removed the nuts that hold the window to the scissor arm. I reattached the window and put the motor back in, however, now when i press up on the switch, the window goes down, and it wont go back up. What could be wrong with it, is it the switch or is the wiring bad or something? Thanks a lot for your help

had the same thing on my right rear, somebody installed the motor crooked and it just locked, loosening the motor and tightening it again fixed my problem. It sounds like you have some wires mixed up, check for any lose wires...
