Interior carpet

This spring I am going to be replacing my interior carpet. The problem is, everyone that sells it is for 95 - 99 eclipses. They don't have the Spyder on their list at all...Do the hardtops and Spyder's have the same size/cut carpeting? Or does anyone have a place where I could get carpeting for my 97 Spyder GST? I've already tried searching a bunch of different places.

Thanks for any help.

Just an idea, but you could call the dealership and see if they have different part numbers for carpets between hardtops and spyders. I'm assuming they have part numbers for carpets, and that if they were the same part they'd have the same number, but the dealership should be able to tell you that much. I looked around for carpet awhile back too, best I could find was a little less than 200 dollars. Pretty cheap way to make an old car look new, at least on the inside.

Edit>> More like 100 dollars, I guess. http://www.stockinteriors.com/item.a...19&ModelId=300. Not sure if it works for spyders. I'd get samples before you buy, when I reupholstered another car they sent me a 2" square portion of a couple colors to color match the stock look. Good luck.

Re: Interior carpet

Why are you gettin a new carpet? Ever thought about dying it? My carpet was tan, Took it out this weekend put it in a bucet with black "rit fabic dye".

Let it soak for awhile. Took it out came out to be lil greay-purple, let it dry then did it again. Now its beautiful. Theirs also fabric spray,

I know it sounds ghetto, but it came out great. Ill upload pics soon

Re: Interior carpet

I am getting new carpet because my tan carpet is just shitty. I don't like the color, and it's just about dead anyway. Way too dirty to even waste my time with. Has rips, holes, etc etc. Getting a nice new black carpet will be excellent. Also, I tried Summit...They don't carry it for 95 - 99. That's what the guy told me anyway...

Re: Interior carpet

i took mine and put it into a big ass industrial washer at a laundrymat and washed the shit out of it. that water was brown when it was washing and i put it in for 2 changeloads to get all the detergent out [just one of those little boxes]. but now it is like it is brand new [minus the thick foamy stuff that ripped off the bottom...]
