Lift-kit
The board's been dead for a while so I decided to post and get some thoughts on a future mod. So, ok. I have a '95 noma, 4.3 v6. It is 4 wheel drive so it is a little higher, but not as high as the zr2's. This summer I want to put a lift kit on it. I've never done anything this big to my truck, so I want to make sure I do it right and good. I'm looking for a 2 to 4 inch suspension lift. What kits do you guys recommend, and should i switch to bigger tires? I'm looking to do some off-roading, but nothing major. So the mod is mainly for looks, and so I don't have to go and buy a bigger truck. Also what all I am gonna have to re-locate, and what will I have to fab up, or are these kits bolt-on? Thanks for your guys help.

I have never lifted a newer light duty pick-up, but I'm sure Skyjacker has a kit for your truck. It should be bolt on as well. They are usually pretty good about their kits quality wise. Also, I wouldn't think too much modification if any would not be needed since your only going 2-4".

Re: Lift-kit
Go with a trail master 5". It's the only lift out there that keeps the suspension at stock geometry. The other tend to make the balljoints and cv joints wear out faster.
