Unhappy oh crap, please help

i was wiring my cd player, and when i went to put it in, my power wire grounded out against a piece of metal. i guess i hadn't taped it well enough. anyway, the power wire burned all the way to the battery, and burned all kinds of other wires on the way. most of them just had the cases burned, but one wire that comes off of my coil and goes through my firewall was totally destroyed. now my truck won't start. where do i need to run a new wire to? am i totally screwed or can this be fixed? please help me.

Re: oh crap, please help

it seems like not many peps post here! lol

i had the same problem 2 times the the littel black wire that is like 16 gauge going to your positive battery is probley fried this will make it so you have no power to your sammy except for you cd player, the other wires just need to be replaced and you might need to replace your fuses, and sorry to say but there is a 75% chance your cd player is toasted!
