head lights won't turn on

the other night i started my jeep up after going to a friends house. Anyways when i started the jeep up to leave my head lights wouldn't turn on, neather of them. The parking lights and blinkers come on, i checked the fuses, and were the lights plug into the wirs, and all connections leading to the. They did this about 4 months ago but after siting the lights would come on but they won't now.

Check the fuse/ circiut breaker first. Also check the grounds to the lights. What year jeep. Had a simular problem with a 00 XJ, wire shorted and melted in steering colunm.

Also look at your switch, test it with a digital multi-meter to see if the switch is making the connection inside.

its a 92, and the other night the lights worked just fine again..
