2001 Concorde oil light flickers

The oil light on my 2001 Chrysler Concorde flickers. It has the 2.7L engine and has happened on two occasions. Current mileage: 66,300. This appears to be a known problem. Whats the potential problem? Whats the fix??

get to a shop and have a pressure check on your oil system. you could either have a faulty sensor or maybe serious engine damage on the horizon. Is it making any unusual sounds, e.g. knocking, tapping, etc.?
