Would just like to say, my neighbor has a mclaren f1, and also he owns a bunch of lambo's, porshe's and some indy cars, he recently gave me a ride in the mclaren f1, its georgous, 3 seater

"3 seater" ? No it is amazing, the F1 has 3 seaters, wait wait a minute, don't tell me, a v12 !!!!! And 4 wheels ?

Hey cabrio was that nessacery? ne's new and thery may be lots of intresting info to come give the guy a break hes a newbe and i would like for one would to welcome him. It is a novel aragment though im shore a matara(sp) or evern vector beat them to the three seater thing if not the exact aragemmnet.

Anyway, both the Matra and Vector doesent have a center stearing wheel.

Thats new info for me shore you right i saw one parked in the road once as for the vector a bench seat under those kind of forces donsnt sound to secure to me.

Its great looks realy cool and my god was it fast for its time even with a three speed box! Its back isnt it?

Sorry just to make clea it wasnt a vector i saw it was the outher one never sceen a vector though id love to with its f15 fuel filler cap! Any body know of any decent pics?

I really don't say it all that often - just when the arguments begin about other cars. If people wish to discuss other cars as they relate to the McLaren F1 (such as seating configuration) then that is perfectly acceptable.

As to the original poster, who lists his location as Pennsylvania, I was not aware of any McLaren F1s in PA so I am very interested to hear more details on your neighbor's McLaren F1.

Yeah my Grandparents live in Lititz, PA which is only about an hour and a half away. I go up there all the time, plus to get to my other grandparents we go through Allentown. I'm really curious to find out more about this.
