Re: Abs

Arn't we all poor?.. Check the sensors near the wheels and make sure that they are still connected. Unplug them and clean them out if any dirt has gotten in there along with inside the engine bay. Should solve your problem. Have you felt how ABS feels when it enguages?

No 'u' in engages! Have you felt my ABS?!?!

Yeah the GM ABS system sucks a bick long shlong! It got mine covered in snow tonight handbrake turning, do-nutting and reverse 180 ing and the car stoped better in the snow without it! In swno the wheels have a chance to build up a snow wegde in fron of them which will stop you faster! ABS stops this. I'm thinking of installing a switch for my ABS and have it off except in the rain!

The exact thing happened to me today.

There is no question in snow, you can stop quicker without ABS if you're used to threshold braking.
To be honest, I find it quicker in any condition without it but if someone borrows the car you never know what could happen so I leave it hooked up.
