95 suspesion clunking

i have 2 95 4x4s. both clunk when loading and unloading the suspension [as when turning in a driveway ] 1 on the pass side the other on the drivers all ball joints and bearings replaced. i believe the torsion bar adjuster lever is the culprit anybody have same problem?

Could be the bushing on the torsion bar, could also be the hubs

do a search in the blazer forum for clunk fix, you might need the new hood washers.

I have a 1995 and it fixed my clunk.

had bar out what bushing? play on lever

Prop you hood up grab the hood hinge with your hand, shake the hood front to back and listen for a knocking noise.

did what you said no play on p/side play on d/side plastic panel had screw missing on p/side when i bought truck might have been addressed this is popping [ loud ] when the body rollls side to side not a rattle when going over bumps gmotors.com [ dealer in fla ] has the adj.lever for torsion bar for $25 any other "cheap" sources for gm parts?

Install the hood washers before you do anything.

Trust me on this. Just do it. It costs under 10 bucks.

YUP, Just like Blazerlt says, it was the hood hinge on mine too. His past recommendation saved me lots of $$. I would have never thought all that clunking came from the hood hinge and it did sound like it was the suspension.
